Kyle Field has hosted some of the biggest crowds in college football history. The record football attendance was 110,633 people during a game against Ole Miss in October 2014. The stadium has also hosted huge non-football events. In June 2024, a George Strait concert brought more than 110,900 fans to the venue. These numbers show how massive the stadium and its surrounding event space really are. For regular football games, crowds above 100,000 are common. The huge attendance is one reason the stadium has such a loud and energetic atmosphere.
