Memorial Stadium is located at 600 Stadium Drive in Lincoln, Nebraska, right on the University of Nebraska campus. The stadium sits just north of downtown Lincoln, making it easy to reach from restaurants, hotels, and entertainment areas nearby. On football Saturdays the surrounding streets fill with fans walking toward the stadium from parking areas and tailgating spots. Many visitors arrive early to explore the campus and soak in the pre-game excitement. Downtown Lincoln’s Haymarket District is also very close and becomes a popular hangout before and after games. Because of the stadium’s central location, it’s one of the most recognizable landmarks in the city. During a sold-out game day, the stadium crowd can rival the population of a small Nebraska city.
