The Kia Forum is a famous indoor entertainment arena located in Inglewood, California, just outside Los Angeles. It originally opened in 1967 and quickly became one of the most recognizable venues for sports and concerts in the city. For decades it hosted NBA games for the Los Angeles Lakers and NHL games for the Los Angeles Kings before those teams moved arenas in 1999. Today the venue focuses mainly on music concerts, award shows, and large entertainment events rather than professional sports. Many of the world’s biggest artists perform there because the building is known for excellent acoustics and a strong concert atmosphere. After major renovations and upgrades, it reopened in 2014 with modern seating and production capabilities. It’s now considered one of the top concert venues in the United States.
