What’s the parking and gameday traffic like around Vaught‑Hemingway Stadium?

Parking and traffic on Ole Miss game days can be pretty intense, mostly because campus fills up so early with fans from all over. Most of the official on‑campus lots are reserved for season ticket holders, donors, or students with permits, so casual fans often can’t just drive up and park there. Instead, many people use off‑campus shuttle services that run from big lots like at Oxford High School or South Oxford Campus and bring you right to the stadium area. Some fans also book private driveway or parking spots in nearby neighborhoods through apps to get a short walk and skip shuttle waits. The city and university start game‑day traffic planning early, but it still helps to show up way ahead of kickoff to find parking and get walking. Roads near campus can get very crowded, and lots often open early in the morning on Saturdays. Leaving after a big game can also take a while, so patience and a plan go a long way.
