What does Reform UK think about net zero and climate policies?

Reform UK strongly opposes many current net zero climate policies in the UK. The party says green policies are too expensive and increase energy bills for regular families. Reform UK wants to scrap the UK’s net zero by 2050 target and expand oil and gas production in the North Sea. Party leaders have also criticized low-emission rules and restrictions on petrol and diesel vehicles. They argue that the government is moving too fast with climate regulations that hurt businesses and workers. Reform UK supports more investment in nuclear energy as an alternative power source. Critics of the party say its climate policies could slow down environmental progress and increase pollution.
