What does AUKUS stand for? Let me explain!

AUKUS is a brand new military alliance between the US, Great Britain and Australia intended to oppose China's dominance in the Pacific.

The acronym itself stands for AUstralia, UK, US. Yes, that simple. The alliance was unveiled in September 2021, and immediately ignited a scandal: France got offended by the pact, because it earlier offered a submarine deal to Australia.
