How walkable is Dallas?

Dallas isn’t the most walkable city overall, but some neighborhoods are very pedestrian-friendly. Areas like Uptown, Deep Ellum, Bishop Arts, and Downtown have good sidewalks, public transportation, and a lot to see in a small area. However, the city is pretty spread out, and many attractions require a car or rideshare. Still, once you're in a central area, exploring on foot can be fun and rewarding.
