Angel Falls is the world’s tallest uninterrupted waterfall, with a height of 3,212 feet (979 meters) and a continuous plunge of 2,648 feet (807 meters). It is located in the Canaima National Park, a UNESCO World Heritage Site in the Gran Sabana region of southeastern Venezuela. The falls drop from a tabletop mountain called Auyán-tepui, one of the many flat-topped mountains unique to this area.
