• Its interior is a designated New York City landmark and the theater is on the National Register of Historic Places.
• The Beacon still houses its original Wurlitzer organ (restored and an important piece of its history).
• The Allman Brothers Band treated the Beacon like their second home, playing hundreds of shows there.
• It’s been used for TV specials, concert films, and broadcasts — meaning some shows there end up on screens worldwide.
• Even with modern upgrades, the theater keeps much of its vintage plasterwork, murals, and classic marquee look.
