Morocco is more conservative than Europe, so modest clothing is appreciated, especially in smaller towns. For women, loose dresses, long skirts, or covering shoulders is a good idea. Men should avoid going shirtless outside beaches. In bigger cities like Marrakech or Casablanca, you’ll see all styles, but blending in is more comfortable. Light layers are best since days can be hot and nights cooler.
