Renting a car gives you the most flexibility for day trips to beaches, agricultural areas, and El Chepe stations. Rideshare apps may be available but check locally since coverage can vary. For trips to the Copper Canyon, book the train or a guided tour rather than trying to drive every segment. Plan routes ahead of time and keep small cash for local transport.
