Los Mochis has a hot, semi-arid climate with very warm summers and mild winters — expect high humidity closer to the coast. The wet season runs roughly from June to October, with occasional heavy rains and thunderstorms, so if you hate humidity avoid that window. For comfortable weather and outdoor exploring, late fall through spring (November to April) is usually the best choice. If you plan beach time, shoulder seasons offer fewer crowds and pleasant temperatures. Keep an eye on hurricane season timing (mostly late summer) if you’re planning coastal trips. Pack light clothing, sun protection, and a light layer for cooler evenings in winter.
