Cameroon sits in Central Africa, right where West and Central Africa meet, giving it a mix of both regions’ cultures and landscapes. It borders Nigeria, Chad, the Central African Republic, and several smaller countries, plus it has a coastline on the Atlantic. People often call it “Africa in miniature” because it’s got a little bit of everything — mountains, deserts, rainforests, and beaches. This variety makes it a fascinating place to explore or study. It’s also one of the few African countries where both French and English are official languages. The cultural diversity is wild — over 200 different ethnic groups call it home. From the volcanic Mount Cameroon to tropical wildlife, there’s always something different to see.
