Why does everyone wake up at 4 a.m. for sunrise at Angkor Wat?

Honestly, it's totally worth the super early alarm! The sunrise over Angkor Wat is one of those legendary bucket list moments, and for a good reason. As the sun peeks over the main towers, the sky changes from dark to a fiery pink and orange, casting a magical silhouette of the temple over the still reflection ponds. It gets incredibly crowded, but the view is truly breathtaking and creates a memory you'll never forget.
