The capital of Belarus is Minsk. It’s a clean, well-organized city located in the center of the country, with wide avenues and impressive Soviet-style architecture. Minsk has rebuilt itself many times after wars, and today it blends modern buildings with big parks and open squares. The city is known for its cultural life, with theaters, museums, and cozy cafes around Independence Avenue. Winters can be cold and snowy, while summers are mild and green. Locals are friendly, and the city feels safe and relaxed. If you visit, check out Victory Square and take a walk along the Svislach River.
