He continued educating himself as he worked as a tailor, picking up books whenever he could. Johnson loved political discussions and started going to local debates. His self-taught education helped him become a skilled speaker in his community. That confidence pushed him into local politics. It’s kind of wild how he went from no schooling to the presidency.
