What was Steven Spielberg’s early life like?

Spielberg was born in Ohio and grew up in a Jewish family that moved around a lot due to his father’s tech job. As a kid, he fell in love with movies and started filming little adventures with an 8mm camera. He liked creating action scenes with toy soldiers and homemade effects. School wasn’t always easy because he felt like an outsider, especially after his parents divorced. Movies became his escape and creative outlet. His early short films showed surprising talent for someone so young. That early passion eventually pushed him toward a Hollywood career.
