What currency is used in Guinea?

Guinea uses the Guinean franc as its currency. It is usually abbreviated as GNF. Cash is widely used, especially outside major cities. Credit cards are rarely accepted in most places. ATMs are limited and mostly found in Conakry. Visitors often bring euros or US dollars to exchange locally. It’s best to plan finances carefully before traveling around the country.
