Alpine skiing at the 2026 Winter Olympics will be one of the most exciting snow sports at Milano Cortina, with events running from February 7 to February 18, 2026. The men’s competitions take place at the legendary Stelvio Ski Centre in Bormio, while women’s races are held at the renowned Tofane Alpine Skiing Centre in Cortina d’Ampezzo. A total of ten medal events are scheduled, with five for men and five for women, including downhill, super‑G, giant slalom, slalom, and team combined. The mixed team combined replaces the traditional individual alpine combined from previous Games, showcasing both speed and technical skills in pairs. Athletes from around the world will compete for Olympic glory on challenging courses known for high speeds and technical demands. The Stelvio and Tofane venues each hold over 7,000 spectators, giving fans a chance to experience top‑level racing firsthand. Alpine skiing has been an Olympic sport since 1936, blending tradition with modern competition formats. With stars like Mikaela Shiffrin and other World Cup leaders in the mix, the alpine events promise thrilling action and fierce rivalries.
