Cross‑country skiing at the 2026 Winter Olympics will be contested at the Tesero Cross‑Country Skiing Stadium in Val di Fiemme, northern Italy, one of the most famous Nordic venues in the world. The events run from February 7 through February 22, 2026, and will feature 12 medal races equally split between men and women. For the first time at the Winter Games, men and women will compete over the same distances, including skiathlon, sprint, team sprint, relay, 10 km freestyle, and the 50 km classic mass start. The stadium has around 19 km of snow trails and sits about 830 m above sea level, creating a balanced challenge for both classic and skate techniques. Cross‑country skiing has a long Olympic history, dating back to the very first Winter Games in 1924, and remains one of the toughest endurance sports on snow.
