February 20, 2026 (Day 14 of the Milano Cortina Winter Olympics) is a huge medal day with around six Olympic finals across major sports, making it one of the busiest days of competition. One of the highlights is the Men’s 15 km biathlon mass start in Anterselva, where top biathletes ski and shoot across several loops for Olympic medals.

In curling at the Cortina Olympic Stadium, the women’s semifinals take place earlier in the afternoon, with the men’s bronze medal match scheduled later in the evening.

Freestyle skiing sees the women’s ski cross final at Livigno, where skiers race head-to-head over technical terrain for medals, followed by the men’s freeski halfpipe final later in the evening.

At the speed skating oval in Milan, the women’s 1500 m final crowns a champion in one of the sport’s key distances on fast ice.

Short-track speed skating also delivers action with the women’s 1500 m quarterfinals, semifinals, and finals, as well as the men’s 5000 m relay final, where teams battle for speed and strategy in tight pack racing.

Men’s ice hockey keeps fans glued to screens with double semifinals in Milan’s arenas as national teams fight for places in the medal rounds.

Bobsleigh competition continues at the Cortina sliding centre with the two-woman event heats 1 and 2, where teams aim for the fastest combined times to advance toward medals.

For spectators and viewers around the world, February 20 offers a mix of fast-paced races, team showdowns, and classic Olympic drama across multiple disciplines.
