February 21, 2026 (Day 15 of the Milano Cortina Winter Olympics) is expected to be the busiest day of the entire Games with around 10 gold medal events and lots of final action across disciplines. The day opens with the Women’s 12.5 km biathlon mass start, where top biathletes ski and shoot in heavy competition for Olympic gold.
In cross-country skiing, the Men’s 50 km classic mass start — the longest and one of the most traditional Olympic races — awards medals after a grueling endurance test.
At the Cortina sliding centre, four-man bobsleigh heats begin for the final medal in that event, and the two-woman bobsleigh final crowns its Olympic champions later in the evening.
Curling action includes the women’s bronze medal match in the afternoon and the men’s gold medal final in the evening, deciding curling’s top podium spots before the Games’ last day.
Freestyle skiing features mixed team aerials and men’s ski cross finals, plus the women’s halfpipe final — each offering thrilling thrills and aerial shows for medals in Livigno.
Speed skating mass start finals for both men and women take place at the Milan oval, blending endurance and tactics on fast ice as skaters chase gold.
The schedule also includes men’s ski cross qualifiers and finals, pushing athletes to their limits in head-to-head snowboard racing over jumps and banked turns.
Finally, the Figure Skating Gala of Exhibitions offers a festive showcase of artistic performances celebrating the sport and closing the competition before the last full day of the Games.
