Toyota Center has flexible seating depending on the type of event you’re attending — and it’s built to hold big crowds. For NBA basketball games, the seating capacity is around 18,100, which gives fans plenty of views of the court. For concerts and touring shows, the arena can expand capacity up to about 19,000, depending on the stage layout and production setup. Some seating gets reconfigured for other events like family shows or combat sports, but in nearly every case there’s room for a large audience. The arena’s design also puts the playing surface or stage nearly 32 feet below street level, which helps create one of the largest lower bowls of any indoor venue in the country. That means a bit more vertical seating close to the action compared with some other arenas. With those numbers, big shows often sell out well in advance.
