A common myth says the Great Wall is visible from space with the naked eye, but that’s not really true. Astronauts in low Earth orbit generally say it’s very hard to see without help because the Wall is narrow and its color blends into the natural landscape. Even though it’s super long, it doesn’t stand out wide enough to be an obvious feature from space. Some special photos or enhanced imaging might pick it up, but with just your eyes it’s not easy. So don’t plan on spotting it like a big line from the moon or distant orbit. What *is* incredible is knowing a human‑made structure stretches so far across the land. That’s part of what makes it such an iconic wonder.
