Do I need a paper ticket to get into an event at the Columbus Civic Center?

No, paper tickets aren’t usually handed out anymore at the Columbus Civic Center and you don’t need them to get in. Since January 1, 2026, the venue has gone fully ticketless, which means you use digital tickets on your phone through the Ticketmaster app or email delivery. That’s supposed to make entry faster and smoother when a show or game gets busy. If you still have a paper ticket from before 2026, the staff will honor that one at the door. You can also pick up your tickets at the Box Office before the event if you need help accessing them. Bring your phone charged so you can show your ticket barcode when you enter. If your phone isn’t working, the box office might help you check in with ID, but screenshots and printed barcodes won’t work anymore.
