The Civic Center is now fully cashless, which means you can’t pay with regular cash inside the venue anymore. You’ll need a credit or debit card like Visa, Mastercard, or Discover, or you can use mobile pay options like Apple Pay or Google Wallet. That applies to buying tickets at the Box Office, grabbing food and drinks at the concession stands, and even merchandise. American Express and actual cash aren’t accepted for most purchases, so plan ahead before you go. This change was made to speed up lines and make everything a bit smoother at busy events. If you forget your card, you might still be able to get help at the Box Office, but it’s always easier if you bring one of the accepted payment methods.
