Lambeau Field currently has a seating capacity of more than 81,000 fans. Over the years the stadium has been expanded several times to add more seats and modern features. A major redevelopment project in the early 2000s increased capacity to over 73,000. Later upgrades added standing-room areas and additional seating sections. Even with the large capacity, demand for tickets is extremely high. The Green Bay Packers have one of the longest season-ticket waiting lists in professional sports. Because of that, getting tickets for a Packers game can sometimes take years of waiting.
