What is the Lambeau Leap?

The Lambeau Leap is one of the most famous touchdown celebrations in the NFL. After scoring a touchdown, Packers players jump into the front row of the stands and celebrate with the fans. The tradition started in 1993 when Packers safety LeRoy Butler jumped into the crowd after scoring. Fans loved the moment, and the celebration quickly became a team tradition. Today many Packers players continue the Lambeau Leap after big touchdowns. Visiting players sometimes try it too, although they do not always receive the same friendly reaction. The celebration has become a symbol of the close connection between the team and its fans.
