Ford Field hosts many big events beyond Detroit Lions football games. One of the most famous was Super Bowl XL in 2006. The stadium has also hosted NCAA basketball tournaments, including the Final Four. Huge concerts by international artists regularly fill the venue as well. Wrestling events like WrestleMania have drawn massive crowds there. The stadium has also hosted college football games, soccer matches, and large conventions. Because of its size and indoor setup, it is one of the Midwest’s most versatile event venues.
