What is the seating capacity of Clemson Memorial Stadium?

Clemson Memorial Stadium has a seating capacity of about 81,500 fans. Over the years, multiple expansions have increased the stadium’s size from its original capacity of about 20,000 when it opened in 1942. Large upper decks and end-zone additions helped transform it into one of the biggest stadiums in college football. It is currently the largest stadium in the Atlantic Coast Conference. The stadium has hosted crowds larger than its official capacity during especially big games. Clemson fans regularly fill the stadium for home matchups during the football season. With tens of thousands of fans packed into the stands, the noise level can become extremely intense.
