LaVell Edwards Stadium has a seating capacity of around 63,470 people, making it one of the larger college football stadiums in the region. That size lets BYU host big rival matchups and high‑profile games with plenty of fans in attendance. Over the years the stadium has been upgraded with extra seating in certain sections to meet demand, especially for rivalry matchups or homecoming weekends. Even though it’s not the biggest stadium in the FBS, the crowds here get super loud and make a great home‑field atmosphere. The design of the seating bowls keeps fans close enough to feel the action, whether you’re up high or down near the field. On big game days, sections sell out fast, especially in the student section. If you’re thinking of going to a game, it’s smart to grab tickets early before the big crowds show up.
