Leech Lake is located in north-central Minnesota, mainly near the town of Walker. It’s one of the largest lakes in the state, covering about 112,000 acres. The lake is famous for its incredible fishing, especially for walleye and muskie. It’s also surrounded by forests and part of the Chippewa National Forest area. Visitors come here for boating, camping, and relaxing by the water. The lake has tons of bays and shoreline, which makes it feel huge and varied. Overall, it’s a top outdoor destination in Minnesota for both locals and tourists.
