Who designed 432 Park Avenue?

The skyscraper was designed by famous Uruguayan architect Rafael Viñoly. His minimalist design focused on clean lines, huge square windows, and a very slim structure rising high above Manhattan. The building’s simple geometric appearance became both admired and criticized by architecture fans around the world. Some people see it as an engineering masterpiece while others believe it looks too plain or oversized compared to older New York buildings. The design includes several open mechanical floors that help wind pass through the tower at high elevations. These openings became one of the building’s most recognizable visual features from a distance. 432 Park Avenue remains one of Rafael Viñoly’s most internationally famous projects.
