Salesforce Tower is the tallest skyscraper in San Francisco and one of the most recognizable buildings on the West Coast. The tower opened in 2018 and became the centerpiece of the city’s modern skyline. It is famous for its sleek glass design, huge height, and connection to the Salesforce technology company. The building rises above the South of Market district and stands next to the Salesforce Transit Center. Many people also recognize the tower because of the giant LED art installation called “Day for Night” near the top. Architecture fans often describe it as one of the defining symbols of San Francisco’s tech era. The skyscraper has become one of the most photographed modern buildings in the city.
