Who designed Salesforce Tower?

Salesforce Tower was designed by famous architect César Pelli and his firm Pelli Clarke Pelli Architects. It was one of the last major skyscrapers completed during Pelli’s lifetime. The tower features a rounded obelisk-like shape with glass panels and metal fins running up the exterior. Engineers designed the building to handle earthquakes and strong Bay Area winds using deep foundation systems connected to bedrock. Many architecture critics praised the tower for looking modern without completely overpowering the surrounding skyline. Some online discussions describe it as elegant, while others joke about its unusual shape. Regardless of opinions, the tower became one of the most talked-about architectural projects in San Francisco during the last decade.
