As a result of the terrorist attack near the building of the Turkish aerospace corporation TUSAŞ in Ankara, four people were killed and 14 others were injured, Turkish President Recep Erdogan said.
According to the country's Interior Minister Ali Yerlikaya, two terrorists were also killed.
A terrorist attack occurred at a facility of the Turkish aerospace corporation TUSAŞ (Turkish Aviation and Space Industries), said Turkish Interior Minister Ali Yerlikaya. According to him, we are talking about a facility in the Kahramankazan district of Ankara. There are dead and wounded.
A Haber reports that explosions were heard near the TUSAŞ building, and the shootout with the terrorists continues. Law enforcement officers, firefighters and doctors have been sent to the scene.
According to CNN's Turkish service, the terrorists blew up a car and opened fire. At least two people were killed, and there may be hostages in the building.
Sources of the local Euronews office in TUSAŞ said that the attack on the company's headquarters was carried out by a suicide bomber, and employees were forbidden to leave their workplaces. According to the source, the shootout took place at the entrance to the building.
Turkish media also published screenshots from surveillance cameras, which allegedly captured the alleged attackers. In one photo, two people with backpacks and weapons are captured at the turnstiles at the checkpoint. In another image, one of them is already in the building. Presumably, one of the attackers is a woman.
