The most iconic structure in Petra is Al-Khazneh, also known as The Treasury, a massive tomb carved into the rock face that greets visitors at the end of the Siq, a narrow canyon entrance. Other notable sites include the Monastery (Ad Deir), the Royal Tombs, the Street of Facades, and the Great Temple. Each of these structures showcases the Nabataeans’ remarkable craftsmanship and architectural vision.
