The Niagara Falls area is home to a variety of wildlife, especially bird species. The Niagara River corridor is a recognized Important Bird Area (IBA), attracting species like gulls, cormorants, and peregrine falcons. Fish, deer, raccoons, and squirrels are also common in nearby parks and trails. While wildlife sightings are frequent, it is important to observe from a distance and not feed or disturb the animals.
