Can visitors tour Hagia Sophia today?

Yes, Hagia Sophia remains open to visitors today. Although it was reconverted into a mosque in 2020, tourists from all over the world can still enter and admire its architecture and history. Entry is free, though visitors are expected to respect the rules of a mosque, such as removing shoes and maintaining quiet during prayer times. It continues to be one of the most visited attractions in Turkey.
