Who designed Mount Rushmore?

Mount Rushmore was designed by sculptor Gutzon Borglum in 1927. He chose the Black Hills region for its granite stability and scenic beauty. Borglum worked with a team of skilled workers using dynamite and traditional carving techniques. His vision was to create a monument celebrating American presidents and national ideals. After Borglum’s death in 1941, his son Lincoln Borglum oversaw the completion of the project. The collaboration involved careful planning, artistic skill, and engineering innovation. The result is a landmark recognized worldwide for its cultural and historical significance.
