Bangladesh used to be considered one of the poorest nations, but things are changing quickly. Its economy has grown a lot in the past few decades, mostly thanks to its garment industry and remittances from abroad. Many people still live in poverty, especially in rural areas, but the middle class is getting bigger. Cities like Dhaka and Chittagong are full of energy with malls, tech hubs, and new businesses. So while challenges remain, it’s not the same story as 30 years ago.
