Bangladesh sits on a delta with tons of rivers like the Ganges and Brahmaputra flowing through it. Since it’s so low-lying, heavy rains and monsoons easily cause flooding. Climate change has made it worse, with rising sea levels and stronger storms. Floods can be really destructive but locals are used to adapting to them. The government and NGOs have been working on flood shelters and early warning systems to keep people safer.
