Some of the biggest U.S. cities on Lake Michigan include Chicago, Milwaukee, and Green Bay. Smaller beach towns like Holland, Michigan and Sheboygan, Wisconsin are also popular spots. The lake is surrounded by four states: Illinois, Indiana, Michigan, and Wisconsin. Each area has its own vibe — Chicago has a skyline beach scene, while Michigan towns have more of a laid-back coastal feel. No matter where you go, you’ll find great views and plenty of outdoor fun.
