There’s no national passenger rail network like in Europe, so don’t expect scenic train travel across the country. Within cities, metros, cable cars, buses, and ride-hailing apps make urban travel fairly easy, though rush hour can be brutal. Driving yourself gives flexibility but be ready for mountain roads and unfamiliar traffic rules in some areas.
