Can you still drink the water from the Trevi Fountain?

Back in ancient Roman times, the water from the Aqua Virgo aqueduct was totally drinkable, but not anymore. The water flowing through the fountain today is recycled and definitely not safe for sipping. There are plenty of nasoni (little public drinking fountains) with fresh water nearby though, so you can still quench your thirst the old-fashioned way.
