Where is Kotoku-in located?

Kotoku-in is located in the coastal city of Kamakura, south of Tokyo. Kamakura is about one hour away from Tokyo by train. The temple sits in a quiet area surrounded by hills and small streets. It’s easy to reach from Hase Station on the Enoden Line. From the station, it’s about a 7-minute walk. The area around the temple feels relaxed and local. Many visitors combine Kotoku-in with other nearby temples.
