February 15, 2026 (Day 9 of the Milano Cortina Winter Olympics) is one of the busiest medal days of the Games, with around nine gold medal events across alpine, biathlon, cross-country, snowboard, speed skating and more. On the alpine slopes in Cortina, the Women’s Giant Slalom final awards medals after two runs of technical racing.
In biathlon, the Men’s 12.5 km Pursuit crowns a champion as athletes combine fast skiing with precision shooting over several loops.
Also in Anterselva, the Women’s 10 km Pursuit sees competitors chase down leaders with start times based on earlier sprint results.
The Men’s 4×7.5 km relay in cross-country skiing brings teams together for endurance and teamwork on tracks in Val di Fiemme.
Snowboard fans get action in mixed team snowboard cross, where mixed-gender teams race head-to-head over jumps and banked turns for medals.
Skeleton’s mixed team event awards medals as pairs from each country combine runs for a total time in Cortina’s sliding centre.
At the Milano oval, Speed Skating’s Women’s 500 m final highlights sprint speed, while Men’s team pursuit qualification keeps fans excited about upcoming medal races.
Curling continues with men’s and women’s round-robin matches, plus men’s preliminary ice hockey games and the Women’s Large Hill ski jumping final, giving spectators a full day of Olympic action.
