Program for February 9 at the 2026 Winter Olympics

February 9, 2026 (Day 3 of the Games) is another packed competition day at the Milano Cortina Winter Olympics with several medal opportunities and key early-stage matches across sports. Curling mixed doubles round-robin matches run in the morning, continuing through semifinals later in the day as teams jockey for placement in medal rounds.

The men’s team alpine skiing combined event holds both downhill and slalom runs, with medals awarded based on total times from both disciplines — a great early test of speed and technical skill.

At Livigno Snow Park, the women’s freeski slopestyle final features aerial tricks and rail skills as athletes compete for Olympic hardware.

In ice hockey, women’s preliminary round games continue with multiple matches scheduled, keeping the group stage action lively and competitive.

Luge women’s singles runs 1 and 2 take place in the late afternoon, with athletes racing for fast combined times over two heats.

The women’s 1000 m speed skating final is on the ice schedule, with speed skaters racing for Olympic medals in this middle-distance event.

The day also includes ski jumping men’s normal hill individual, where athletes compete in a high-flight final aiming for podium positions.

Lastly, snowboard women’s big air final concludes on February 9 with riders showcasing tricks above the Livigno venue for Olympic gold and medals.
