Ski Jumping at the 2026 Winter Olympics

Ski jumping at the 2026 Winter Olympics will be held at the newly renovated Predazzo Ski Jumping Stadium in Val di Fiemme, Italy, from February 7 to February 16, 2026. The venue features both a normal hill (HS109) and a large hill (HS143), upgraded to host Olympic competition and capable of welcoming top ski jumpers from around the world. There will be six medal events: men’s normal hill and large hill, women’s normal hill and large hill, a mixed team event, and a men’s “super team” competition that adds a fresh twist to the Olympic program. The addition of a women’s large hill event marks a historic first for ski jumping at the Olympics. Athletes earn points based on both distance and style, with judges evaluating flight posture and landing technique to determine final scores. Training begins early, with official practice sessions starting on February 5, giving jumpers time to get accustomed to the hill and conditions. Ski jumping has deep Olympic roots dating back to 1924, and the 2026 schedule blends classic individual competition with team formats that highlight national depth. With top World Cup athletes like Domen Prevc and rivals from nations such as Japan, Germany, and Austria competing, fans are in for thrilling jumps and close finishes on Italy’s spectacular winter stage.
