Where is Lane Stadium and what team plays there?

Lane Stadium is the main football stadium at Virginia Tech in Blacksburg, Virginia, and it’s home to the Virginia Tech Hokies football team. The stadium opened in 1965 and has grown over the years into one of the most famous college football venues in the country. Today it holds a little over 65,000 fans and sits right on the Virginia Tech campus. It’s officially called Lane Stadium/Worsham Field, but most fans just call it Lane Stadium. The place is surrounded by the Blue Ridge Mountains, which gives game days a pretty scenic backdrop. Hokies fans pack the stadium every fall for ACC football games and big rivalry matchups. It’s known for its loud atmosphere and passionate “Hokie Nation” crowd.
